This weekend we organized a Fam trip for different Tour Operators. It was a marvelous weekend! We left to San Pedro where 4 canoes were waiting for us, from there we went to Yacuma Eco-lodge. The sun was shining, so it was excellent to start with the activities, a visit to the local community, a walk in the jungle,… Between the activities we ate delicious traditional meals. To say goodbye to our guests, the shaman came to clean some of our guest. Afterwards there was a campfire and some typical live music. Yacuma Ecolodge and its Environment

At Yacuma Ecolodge we view the environment as “the relationship between human beings and their natural and cultural surroundings. It is everything around us, where we walk, what we see, what we breathe, where we live, and where we work.”

Sustainability goals focus on respecting and benefiting local people and the environment. Yacuma provides a chance to find out more the lives of the people who inhabit the jungle surroundings, the private reserve, to share time with them and learn about their traditions and way of live. The last week Yacuma made a donation to the community was carried out, especially the medical attention to women in reproductive age and the donation of uniforms, kits of neatness, school equipment to the children. By insurance this will not be the last one of the efforts that carry out for our neighboring community
