The tourist development of Yacuma comprises four areas:

  • Visitors are welcomed in the first area of Yacuma Ecolodge consisting of a nice and spacious reception area that our guest can also use as relaxation area.
  • The second area consists of a group of 10 “cabañas” or bungalows built in the traditional Amazon-style. All our bungalows have two rooms that can accommodate two passengers in comfortable beds with mosquito nets.
  • In the third area we find two bungalows, each with 2 rooms for 10 people in total, ideal for families with children or for tourists looking for additional comfort.
  • A fourth area comprises the spacious dining room, with a capacity for 40 visitors, and kitchen.

Yacuma Ecolodge is one of the few lodges in Ecuador which uses solar energy for lighting! Also our water is supplied by a nearby spring. This water is pumped into two tanks and ecologically treated before usage.

Guests can also find:

  • A gift shop with t-shirts, caps and handcrafts from the area.
  • A bar with alcoholic and soft drinks.
